Plain-language privacy note
Your photos stay in this browser
The photo booth is designed to perform its core photo work on your device. This note describes the site as it works today and will be updated whenever that changes.
Short version: there is no photo upload endpoint, user account, cloud gallery, advertising tracker, or face-recognition service in the photo booth.
Camera access
The page requests camera access only after you select “Use camera.” Your browser and operating system control that permission. Video is displayed in the current tab and individual frames are copied into browser memory only when you start a capture sequence.
Photos selected from your device
JPEG, PNG, and WebP files you choose are read by this page so they can be placed into a layout. In this version they are not transmitted to a remote photo service.
Temporary processing and export
Filters, frames, and the downloadable PNG are produced with browser canvas technology. Working images are held in the page’s memory. Refreshing or closing the tab removes the session; the finished file remains only if you download or share it.
Camera shutdown
The camera stream stops when you select “Stop camera,” close the page, navigate away, or the browser ends the tab. A browser permission may remain saved according to your own browser settings.
Website logs and future analytics
ClickHug does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers in the photo booth. The hosting provider may create basic technical logs such as request time, page path, IP address, and browser information. If analytics, error reporting, advertising, or another third-party service is added, this note and any required consent controls will be updated first.
Changes to this note
Features such as accounts, cloud sync, public galleries, remote sharing rooms, or server-side image tools would materially change the privacy model. They are outside the current photo booth and must not be enabled without a revised policy and a new review. Any future tool that processes photos differently will document its own behavior on this page before it ships.
